When sourcing healthcare startups, our process includes:
All startups must have secured funding from a professional third party
We evaluate each opportunity to ensure it meets our strict criteria
We leverage professional investor participation and input from subject matter experts
Follow the journey of a few of the startups in our portfolio.
Anyone can invest in individual startups through Bioverge. We support two offering types for our members:
Accredited investors are aggregated into a limited liability company (LLC) formed for the purpose of investing in a specific startup. Bioverge creates and manages the new entity; participating investors hold a share of the LLC as opposed to directly holding the startup’s securities.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, the general public now has the opportunity to participate in the early capital-raising activities of start-up and early-stage businesses. Anyone can invest in a Regulation Crowdfunding offering. Because of the risks involved with this type of investing, however, you are limited in how much you can invest during any 12-month period in these transactions. The limitation on how much you can invest depends on your net worth and annual income.
Accredited investors can maximize their diversification by investing in a Bioverge Fund. Participating investors can instantly spread their investment across a diverse set of 10 or more startups.
Whatever your level of startup investment experience, we’d like to help you on your journey. Please read on about the unique benefits of startup investing, how to choose your investment, and much more.
Investing in emerging healthcare startups is a bit different than investing in publicly traded companies.
Your investment goes to the startup of your choice. The funding helps the startup make advances in healthcare.
Sometimes even the most promising startups never reach their goal. That’s why you should never invest more than you can afford to lose.
Investors may never receive a return on your investment and a startup may never experience an exit.
